For many years, SPC has hosted a dramatic procession to draw attention to the threat of nuclear weapons and to commit to the prevention of their use. We have also held picnics with lantern floating and other rituals for this same goal. Since the pandemic, we have continued the picnic/rituals and organized simpler tableaus at important locations in Syracuse to influence policy-makers.
